These terms govern your use of LootPay, a marketplace where people buy and sell game accounts, in-game items and related services. Who runs LootPay and how to reach us is on the legal notice page.

1. What LootPay does

LootPay lists offers (“lots”) published by sellers and holds the buyer’s payment until the deal is finished. The sale itself is between the buyer and the seller: LootPay is not the seller of any lot and does not own the accounts or items listed.

2. Your account

  • One person, one account. Keep your password and the email on the account safe: every sign-in is confirmed by a code sent to that email.
  • To sell you must be 18 or older and fill in your seller details (private person or business). Business sellers’ name, address and contact details are shown to buyers, as EU law requires.
  • You can download your data or delete your account at any time on the Account page. Deals and records the law requires us to keep stay after deletion, without your username and email.

3. Listings

Sellers are responsible for what they list and must describe it accurately. It is not allowed to list:

  • stolen, hacked or otherwise unlawfully obtained accounts or items, or accounts the seller has no right to transfer;
  • cheats, hacks, bots, exploits or services that rely on them;
  • anything illegal in the EU, anything infringing someone else’s rights, and personal data of other people.

Many game publishers do not allow accounts or items to be transferred. Buyers and sellers accept that a publisher may restrict or close an account; LootPay cannot prevent this.

4. Deals

  • Prices are in euros. The buyer pays exactly the price of the lot; LootPay holds the payment.
  • After payment the seller hands the lot over within the delivery time shown on it (automatic delivery is immediate). If the seller does not hand it over in time, the buyer gets the money back.
  • After handover the buyer has 72 hours to check the lot and confirm the deal or open a dispute. If the buyer does neither, the deal completes automatically and the money goes to the seller.
  • In a dispute our support team decides on the evidence in the deal chat: the money goes back to the buyer or to the seller. Keep all communication about a deal in its chat.
  • Paying or communicating outside LootPay to avoid the deal process is not allowed; we cannot protect deals made outside LootPay.

5. Fees

Buyers pay no fees. The seller pays a commission on each completed sale, deducted from the payout: 8% by default, 6% for sellers with at least 100 completed deals and at least 98% positive reviews, 5% from 1,000 completed deals with at least 98% positive reviews. The listing form shows the exact payout before you publish.

6. Reviews

After a completed deal the buyer can leave one review: positive or negative, with an optional comment. Reviews must be honest and about the deal. We remove reviews that are unlawful or manipulate reputation.

7. Reports, moderation and appeals

  • Anyone can report a lot that breaks the law or these terms with the “Report this lot” button. We confirm receipt and tell you our decision by email.
  • We may remove lots and suspend or close accounts that break the law or these terms. We tell the person affected what we decided, why, and how to appeal. Decisions are made by people, not automated tools.
  • You can appeal a decision within six months by replying to the decision email; someone who did not take the decision reviews it. You can also turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body or a court.

8. Consumer rights

When the seller is a private person, EU consumer protection law does not apply to the purchase. When the seller is a business, the statutory rights of consumers apply between the buyer and that seller. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law of your country of residence gives you as a consumer.

9. Liability

LootPay is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and as mandatory law requires. Otherwise LootPay is liable only for breach of essential obligations and only for typical, foreseeable damage. LootPay is not liable for what publishers do with accounts or items.

10. Changes and termination

We will email you about changes to these terms at least 30 days before they take effect; if you do not agree, you can delete your account. You can stop using LootPay at any time. We may close accounts for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of the country where LootPay’s operator is established, without depriving consumers of the protection of the mandatory law of their country of residence.
